Finishing a wildebeest

We found our Big Cat very late in the night and a couple of the females with him as they were finishing a wildebeest. We were surprised and very happy when we came upon them as we had not heard them at all. The pride seems to be still fragmented and the other members were not seen. The Lioness and her cubs may have eaten and gone into the bush as we did not get to see them and they had almost completely finished this meal..

Predator Aware is on patrol every day which is so important trying to find our Lions and Leopards that live in our area.The plains game is still abundant and we still have green grass.Lion and Leopard protection is ongoing and the message to our schools and community members is the value of our wildlife for our futures in conservation and tourism particularly Lions and Leopards.

Hi Sauwah, we are trying to get images of Sau and Wah and will post them when we do . They have been hard to find lately. The Siana area has a lot of woodland and areas hard to reach where they can easily hide. We have had reports of sitings from our Predator Aware Scouts who have seen them recently but have been unable to get photos. Will keep trying!
